May 17, 2019 professional boxing is coming back to Memphis in celebration of its 200th year anniversary! The city will host tons of grand events and forums leading up to the actual anniversary date of May 22, 1819. Among the anticipated celebratory events is Bicentennial Beatdown Professional Boxing hosted by The Redwing Group!
The main event is scheduled for Friday, May 17th at FedExForum (191 Beale Street, Memphis TN 38103) and will feature Orange Mound native and Mayweather Promotions own, Ladarius “Memphis” Miller showcasing his powerhouse skills in the ring! This will be Ladarius’ first fight in Memphis as a professional boxer as he takes on Fernando Saucedo in a 10 round bout for the (ABF) Super Lightweight Title!
Memphis will show up in exceptional numbers to this historical event and welcome visitors and celebrities from around the country as The Redwing Group brings high energy boxing entertainment to Downtown Memphis! Special performances by well-known Memphis entertainers will be a bonus on May 17th at the Memphis Bicentennial Beatdown!
